50'S CAKE

This cake was so much fun to make. I was asked to make this cake Wednesday Night for a party on Friday. The lady was wanting a 50's cake for her daughter's 21st birthday. I took a napkin she was using and from that designed this cake. The Guitar, checks, records and 21 are made from fondant and the curly ribbons were made from gum paste. It was pretty fun trying to figure this one out.

Yes the strings in the guitar are really strings....fun-fun!!!

I was asked to do a cake for our good friend's daughter. She wanted a 60's theme with a peace sign and she wanted it chocolate! We got all of those elements in and it turned out pretty cute (the colors in these pics aren't the best!)

This cake is for another friend's daughter. Nesse wanted green and blue dots and balloons. She was so excited about how it turned out! Pretty fun.

Welcome Baby Haley Baird

Today we had a shower welcoming Baby Haley Baird. Our pastor and his wife adopted this precious little one and we had an open house celebrating their family!

Lakers Cake

I was asked to do a Lakers cake for a friend's son's 18th birthday. The heat brought some issues, but overall it turned out pretty good, I think! I was most happy with the logo (all edible).

Nick took a week off after Family Camp to spend time with his girls. We decided to take them to Pismo to play in the sand and find shells.
